I find myself at this time in the city of Los Angeles, California (USA), in need of human and spiritual help for the work that we have in Columbia. There we are working with families who have been displaced by violence with very limited financial resources. We have a labor of rehabilitation with young people and children who are drug addicts, alcoholics and delinquents. We have at this time 25 missions throughout Columbia though our labor is stronger in the state of Santander and North Santander. We have at the head of this pastoral labor presbyters, Deacons, sub-Deacons, and seminary students (aspiring to Ordained Ministry). Also we need help for a group of our students who are realizing their theological studies and who are preparing themselves to serve our work in Colombia.
I have brought with me some photographs of this labor in Colombia and I hope to find through you, with God's help, some means to take help to our country. It is important to clarify that I do not speak English, but here I am able to find a good translator (If you have someone who speaks Spanish, that would be even better!).
I hope to find myself with you and with your help.
Pbro. Leonardo Marin Saavedra
Superior Provincial PAM.
Although our congregation does not speak English, but only Spanish, I would like to have a conversation with you and a personal meeting in order to express some concerns about our work in Colombia. I am Presbyter Leonardo Marin Saavedra, Provincial Superior of the Anglican Missionary Fathers in Colombia
